Scope and Contents

The Papers of Stephen S. Wise consists of 90 linear feet of manuscript material and represents Wise's career as a rabbi and his involvement in public affairs. The bulk of the collection consists of materials related to organizations in which Wise was involved, sermons, and correspondence.  The collection also includes an unlisted microfilm reel of personal correspondence and five microfilm reels of Wise's diaries.  For access to, or information on, these items, please contact an Archives and Special Collections staff member.
