Scope and Contents
This collection includes materials from Stephen J. Gendzier's time as a Professor in the Romance and Comparative Literature Department (now called the Romance Studies Department and/or the Comparative Literature and Culture Program, respectively). Documents include teaching materials, course evaluations, committee meeting minutes, newsclippings, Romance and Comparative Literature Department materials, and correspondence.
Professor Gendzier taught in the French Program at Brandeis from 1962-2001, and served as the Chairman of the Department of Romance and Comparative Literature twice during his tenure.
