Scope and Contents

These papers are comprised of files from the office and career of Andrew Szent-Gyorgyi, who served as Professor of Biology at Brandeis from 1966-1997. Szent-Gyorgyi served as the chair of the Biology Department at Brandeis from 1975 to 1979, and fostered the development of the University's Neuroscience program. After retiring from teaching, he continued his research as a Professor Emeritus until 2007.

These papers include files related to research, budget, and grant administration, as well as course materials, employment reviews, and materials from scientific conferences.
