Scope and Contents
The bulk of this collection is comprised of motion picture stills and promotional material from 1935 to 1964. The Promotional material consists of articles and newspaper clippings, photographs, advertisements, programs and brochures from various motion picture studios. The collection also contains film and theater material from the 19th and early 20th centuries, including performance photographs and cards (many of them signed), cigarette cards, and theater scrapbooks. The collection is unprocessed. A preliminary inventory is available in Special Collections.
