Speeches and Events, 1935-1993
Scope and Contents
A small series of files dealing primarily with Sachar's many public speaking engagements, as well as events attended by him. Materials include correspondence with organizers and speaking bureaus, travel arrangements, publicity, notes, the text of many speeches, and fanmail received by Sachar. The series also includes a small collection of eulogies written and delivered by Sachar, including his notes and research, and a selection of material concerning Sachar himself, including the many honorary degrees he received.
