Scope and Contents
The De Koven collection consists of 18 linear feet of material. The collection is dominated by manuscripts of about 30 operas, many signed by De Koven. In addition, there are a number of published compositions and some correspondence (Folder 221) regarding contracts, copyrights, production dates, and reviews. Miscellaneous items include two pages handwritten by De Koven titled "Ideas for a Farce," and news articles related to De Koven's works.
