Scope and Contents
Sub-series 1 contains art files arranged by the function they served to Lilith, including art for specific issues, art created in a specific medium or format, and information on potential artists. This sub-series also includes correspondence related to art content, artists and illustrators, and cartoons and comics. Of particular interest is the collection of Lilith cover mockups, which includes the premier issue cover, and several theatre and event posters. Also of note is a copy of Jewish Women dating from 1892, which was sent to Lilith by a reader.

Conditions Governing Access
The collection is open for research.
There are two folders entitled Converts in Series 3: Editorial Files, Sub-Series 2: Rituals and Religious Life. The second "Converts" folder (Folder 9a) is restricted until 2059 due to the interviewees request for confidentiality.
Otherwise, access to the collection is in accordance with the policies of the Robert D. Farber University Archives & Special Collections Department, Brandeis University. Please contact the department for more information.
