Scope and Contents
Sub-series 2: Financial records consists of account ledgers, expense reports, special sales invoices, records of Lilith’s distribution through various companies and bookstores, planning documents related to fundraising, donor records, and applications and correspondence with foundations and grant-giving organizations. As a non-profit, Lilith operates on funding from grants, donations, and subscriptions, and this sub-series documents their financial history. Of particular note are the accounts from the early years of Lilith, as well as records of grants from foundations like The Sister Fund, who supported Lilith over a period of ten years.

Conditions Governing Access
The collection is open for research.
There are two folders entitled Converts in Series 3: Editorial Files, Sub-Series 2: Rituals and Religious Life. The second "Converts" folder (Folder 9a) is restricted until 2059 due to the interviewees request for confidentiality.
Otherwise, access to the collection is in accordance with the policies of the Robert D. Farber University Archives & Special Collections Department, Brandeis University. Please contact the department for more information.
