This series contains writings and transcripts written by or about Lenny Bruce. The subseries writings by Lenny Bruce include his autobiography, his column in Rogue magazine and his screen plays, as well as transcripts of his performances. The subseries writings about Lenny Bruce include a poem by Kitty Bruce, eulogies by friends and family, as well as transcripts of interviews of Bruce. The materials included are predominantly typed documents with some hand written notes and printed material from papers and magazines.
