  • Biographical or Historical Information

    The Graduate Student Association (GSA) at Brandeis provides a forum for discussing issues concerning graduate students, provides graduate student representation to the Brandeis faculty and administration, promotes and organizes activities for graduate students, disseminates information, and helps graduate students find housing. The GSA, which is open to all graduate students, includes the following elected officials: President, Vice-President, and Recording Secretary; it also includes a number of coordinating positions as needed. The Coordinator of Graduate Student Services is an administrative liaison between the Office of the Dean of Student Affairs and the GSA. The GSA publishes quarterly newsletters, and maintains an e-mail list to distribute notices and general information.

    The materials in this collection were created from 1990 through 2007, with the bulk of the material dating from 1997 and 1998. Materials in this collection include newsletters, memos, e-mail, minutes and announcements, fliers, and the Graduate Student Handbook. All of the materials in this collection were published or distributed by the GSA
