  • Arrangement

Boxes 1-7 are arranged alphabetically. There is no discernable arrangement for boxes 8-10.

  • Conditions Governing Access

The collection is open for research use and has no known restrictions.

  • Conditions Governing Use

Requests to reproduce or publish material from the collection should be directed to the Robert D. Farber University Archives & Special Collections Department, Brandeis University.

  • Processing Information

This collection has been partially arranged, but details about the work performed are unavailable.

Collection was reorganized by the archives to facilitate research use.

Gift paperwork and folder titles were used to conduct a deductive review of restrictions for this collection. There does not appear to be a need for restrictions at this time.

It is unclear whether folder titles are original to the creator, or if they were devised by an earlier processor.

  • Custodial History

Early accession records are not detailed, but it appears these materials were donated to the Archives in approximately eight accessions by Professor Altmann, between 1968-1981.
