    The Ruth A. Brandwein papers contains published and unpublished papers, reports, research notes, correspondence, and committee information broadly related to welfare policy, women and families, and domestic violence in the United States from the 1960s to 2010.  These materials were collected by Dr. Ruth A. Brandwein, Professor Emeritus and former Dean of the School for Social Welfare at Stony Brook University, throughout the course of her career as an academic, activist, and administrator.
