[These properties likely "fell" into the treasury after Spain's 1808 reconquest of Santo Domingo's French-run colony; certainly many of the prior property owners listed have names of French origin.] Spanish title reads "Testimonio, comprensivo del numero y valor de las haciendas y otras fincas y bienes, [g.e?] por derecho de reconquista de la isla de Santo Domingo han caido en el fisco, remitido por el Gobernador de la isla con carta de 16 de Julio de 1810."
