    Gary Tinterow is Director of the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. Previously, he served as the Engelhard Chairman of the Department of Nineteenth-Century, Modern and Contemporary Art at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Tinterow graduated from Brandeis University in 1976 and holds degress from Harvard and a diploma from the Center for Curatorial Leadership of the Columbia University Business School. He has also served as curatorial assistant at the Israel Museum in Jerusalem, the Rose Art Museum, the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, the Fogg Art Museum at Harvard and the Tate Gallery, London.
