    Stefan Timmermans (b.03/15/1968) Stefan Timmermans is professor of sociology at the University of California, Los Angeles. He is the author of Postmortem: How Medical Examiners Explain Suspicious Death and coauthor of Saving Babies? The Consequences of Newborn Genetic Screening, both published by the University of Chicago Press. Prior to his position at UCLA, Stefan taught a Brandeis University from 1995-2002. During his tenure at Brandeis, Stefan was a Lecturer, Assistant Professor and Associate Professor of Sociology.
