Karen Rosen received her BA in Psychology from Brandeis Universty (1979) and her PhD from Harvard (1984). Rosen joined the Psychology Department faculty in 1984 at Boston College. Since 1986, she has directed the Family and Child Development Project where she conducts research on parent-child attachment relationships and sibling relationships. Dr. Rosen teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in developmental and clinical psychology. She is the Director of the Psychology Honors Program. Dr. Rosen is a licensed clinical psychologist who supervises students in clinical field placements in the Boston area and advises undergraduates interested in applying to clinical psychology graduate programs.
